Beach Weekend with Club Miata Northwest, 2020

Where: Chautauqua Lodge, Long Beach, WA
When: March 6-8, 2020. Meet at 09:30 on the 6th. Driver's meeting at 10:00 and depart at 10:15.
Meet at: The NW corner of the Kelso Safeway parking lot. 411 Three Rivers Dr., Kelso, WA 98626. Located in Three River Mall west of I-5 at exit 39 (WA 4). This Safeway has a Starbucks and a fuel station, so we would ask that everyone fill up here if they need fluids.
Club Miata Northwest (CMNW) is going to the beach and, for the third consecutive year, Mt Hood Miata Club is invited to join them! They are going to switch it up this year and spend the weekend in Long Beach this time.
Run Details: Alex will lead the first leg of the run along Westside highway, SR506, Pe Ell-McDonald Road, and SR6 to Raymond.
We will rendezvous with CMNW in Raymond and have lunch around noon. Like the last two years, we will have the private room reserved for us at Sheila's Kountry Kitchen. You are free to eat lunch wherever you want, but the plan is to regroup around 13:30 in the big parking lot at the NE quadrant of 3rd and Duryea for group photos.
We will join the CMNW members for the rest of the drive to Long Beach. While most of us will opt to take 101 from Raymond to Long Beach, people can feel free to peel off at any time during this final leg.
UPDATE (2/22) Club Miata NW has decided to make the Saturday (3/7) run into a full-fledged club run called the "Three of Clubs" Run. This run is open to all "even if you are not attending the full Beach Weekend event"; but you must register. To those that registered already via email to Zeke Taney per Alex's 2/21 email check the Club Miata NW website to make sure you were added. If you want to go on this run down into Oregon and back to Long Beach on some beautiful "made for Miata" back roads please register for the run on Club Miata NW website: https://clubmiatanw.clubexpress.com (Note: The website is similar to MHMC). If that does not work for you please send an email to: President@clubmiata.com and tell him you and whomever will attend the "Three of Clubs" Run on 3/7/2020.
