1990, Red - I'm the 3rd owner (by brother was 2nd, his friend was 1st)
~85,000 miles
Asking price $6000 obo
The good:
- Mechanically in very good shape. Woodstock Motor sports recently went through the car replacing hoses, belts, the radiator, etc. I have the receipt for ~$3500 worth of work.
- Soft top is in good condition, replaced in the past 10 years and no rips. Soft window is in good shape though a little hazy it is easy to see through
- Has a matching hardtop, which has some paint missing and scratches, but is mechanically sound (I believe I have the original cassette radio if that's important to you)
- Modern Harmon stereo (USB, Bluetooth, etc) and Polk speakers in the door which sound very good
- 205/50R-15 DUNLOP DIREZZA DZ102 SL tires on 15x7 ENKEI RACING RPF1 wheels (very light but strong) - used for about 3500 miles
- Updated shocks about 10 years ago
- Trunk lid shock was replaced and works great
- Battery is ~2 years old
- I have a brand new car cover, never used I'll through in. I
The not so good:
- Common problems with NA models: automatic windows are slow but work fine, trunk can get a gas smell occasionally
- Air conditioner quality is unknown, I've never used it, certainly would need a charge
- There is a fair amount of paint chipping
- The water drains need some help sometimes
- minimal rust in the common spots but no issues with body integrity
The car runs great, starts every time and has been incredibly reliable. It was purchased in Southern IL, and I bought it as a car to use when visiting my parents in Indiana during the early 2000s. It spent 13 years in Colorado before we moved here this August.
