About this event

Join us for a scenic drive through outer Clackamas County, where quiet rural roads offer beautiful views of the Molalla

River and the Cascade Mountains. The Horseshoe Run will explore two favorite routes: the Molalla River Corridor and

Sawtell Road. The Corridor winds alongside the river, and on a clear day, Sawtell Road rewards us with a stunning view of

five Cascade peaks.

The 89-mile route is 100% paved, and we’ll drive to the end of the pavement on both roads. There is plenty of room to

turn around at each endpoint, even with a group.

After the run, we’ll gather for lunch at the Horseshoe Bar & Grill, a local favorite known for its welcoming atmosphere and

good food.

If the selected date does not bring “top-down” weather, the run will be rescheduled so everyone can enjoy the drive at its

best.
