Come one, come all to our Annual MHMC Summer Picnic at the Lewisville Regional Park just North of Battleground, WA on the East side of Highway 503, the Lewisville Highway.
We will occupy the Filbert Shelter. There is a $3 fee per car to enter the park.
PICNIC – The picnic will be from 3:30 to Dusk. The club will supply dogz and burgz, along with the requisite buns, condiments, tableware, and drinks.
The park closes at dusk. The East Fork of the Lewis River is an easy walk from the pavilion.
The club members will bring appetizers, side dishes, salads, and desserts to share - potluck style. The pavilion has wonderfully large picnic tables but you might want to bring your own folding chairs for comfort.
Please bring dishes to share for the potluck, by first letter of your last name:
A-F Appetizers (e.g., chips & dip, cheese plate, wings, deviled eggs)
G-L Salads (e.g., potato, macaroni, green, fruit)
M-R Side Dishes (e.g., beans, casseroles, corn on the cob)
S-Z Desserts (e.g., flan, cake, custard, pie, crème brûlée, cookies)
There is a horseshoe pit by the pavilion so perhaps someone can bring a set of horse shoes so we can play.
We will need volunteers for setup, cleanup and BBQ chefs. If you would like to join the effort or be the "Lead" please let Dave Russell know via an email or at a meeting or run.
MEETING – There will be a short 5-minute club meeting. The rest of our time together will be social time devoted to dining, relaxing, and swapping stories with old friends and new members.
PARKING and ACCESSIBILITY –There should be plenty of parking but it may be spread out.
RSVP’s are required by 08-23-2026, so that we will know how much food to purchase.
