Dash for Kids Race and Auction

This year’s Dash for Kids Race and Auction will be held on August 17 and August 18 at Portland International Raceway, PIR  


With the help and support of MHMC, Woodstock Motorsports (Jess & Addie), has in the past few years volunteered to cook up and serve lunch to the kids, families, race car drivers and crews, race workers and the public on Saturday and Sunday during the Dash for Kids Charity Event. This is a donation driven fund raiser for Take Action NIC and Doerenbecher Children's Hospital.  If you have not volunteered for this event before, you will experience children and their families enjoying a new carefree adventure away from their medical care or whatever stress there is in their lives. 


Jess and Addie will be at Laguna Seca this year and are unable to provide this year’s luncheon; however, they have arranged for MHMC to continue our support to the Dash for Kids Charity Event.


4 to 5 volunteers are needed to help serve the luncheon on both days.
Lunch is from11:30 to 12:50. Both days lunch will be sandwiches, apples and chips for the Doernbecher families, volunteers and track workers.  Lunch distribution will be at the back side of the auction tent by the dinner tables. 

 

At this time track entrance for race day hasn't been posted, however Signa will provide volunteers with the race schedule and plans for entry.  We ask that the volunteers arrive by 10:30 am and some are needed until 2:00 pm to help with clean up each day.

dashforkids@gmail.com or call her at 503-720-7971 to advise her when you will be able to help out on Saturday and/or Sunday. (Even if you sign up on our website this will help Signa schedule both days events).
