We will be departing at 8:00am on Friday, Oct 1st from the Elmer's restaurant at 10001 N.E. Sandy Blvd. Portland, OR 97220.
If you would like to have breakfast beforehand, please plan on being there at 7:00am or earlier.
Currently I am planning on taking the traditional backroads route, stopping in Packwood for lunch. This route typically gets us to Leavenworth between 3:00pm and 4:00pm (still plenty of time to get checked in, wash the car, and have dinner before the desert buffet). If you'd like to get there earlier you should consider a more direct route.
HOWEVER, I have not pre-run this route and it is possible things have changed since we last took it, so I would strongly advise that you pack some snacks just in case.
